2 Vintage Colorized Red Glass Decorative Antique Insulators.

Each of these colorized glass insulators is carefully crafted in our 150-year-old converted Tobacco Barn shop, which we affectionately call the "Bro Barn."  Colorizing glass is a meticulous and slow process and must be done carefully due to the non-porous nature of glass.

These are authentic, approximately 100-year-old clear glass insulators that we have altered. Due to the nature of glass, many light coats are required, each needing significant care and drying time. Once colorized, we apply a diamond clear coat to each insulator, enhancing their scratch resistance, UV protection, and overall shine and luster. The resulting red color beautifully catches the light.
